FN Mauser 98 in .270

Rifle Scopes Deciding on a new scope.
I checked out the bushnell and it really looks like it'll fit my needs, I think I'll go for that when I find a good price. Thanks guys.- bismarck5

Rifle Scopes Deciding on a new scope.
Would it be better to spend more and end up saving in the long run, maybe find something that has been used? I've read that 10x is adequate for steel out to 1000yds(at least for the military) and I'm young so I don't plan on losing much of my eye sight for years to come.- bismarck5
