Is a tikka action Long/strong enough for 338 lapua

Lapua size bolt face doesn’t exist for a tikka that I’m aware of. Also OAL would probably be an issue.

Rifle Scopes Nightforce SHV 4-14 F1 field of view

Does anyone else think the 4-14 SHV has a slight “toilet paper tube” feeling when looking through it? Or is it just me? My ATACR 4-16 seems to have a much “fuller” picture.

Rifle Scopes Stripped a Spuhr Mount Screw During Install

Are you sure you were using the correct size torx bit? I think it’s a t20. I have heard people complaining about stripping the heads because it seems like you’re using the correct size, but it’s not.

    Chassis for duty use.

I don’t have a ton of chassis experience, but the MPA is the only one I’ve tried so far that didn’t feel like an AR15. The vertical grip with the thumb cut out seemed well thought out and comfortable if you like shooting thumb up. Also the comp chassis comes with the night vision rail which is...

    223 trainier advice

Probably best off getting an action and spinning on a faster twist 223 barrel. Most of the factory guns are 1:9 at the fastest. CDNN is blowing out 5.56 ruger precision rifles, so that’s another option.

    Tikka T3 Stock Crack

Does the crack spread open when you put pressure on it? It almost looks like a seam where the camo was applied.

    Tikka stock queation

I think the CTR with the adjustable cheekpiece may be a Europe only model, the only Tikka I’ve seen in the US with that stock is the T3 Tactical which is more money than the CTR. Your best bet to get an adjustable cheekrest with the CTR would probably be one of the DIY kydex ones, or maybe a...

    Sako TRG / TRG-S M995 Thread **Sticky??**

I’ve always wanted a TRG and found a deal on a nice used one on gunbroker. It’s missing a screw for the picatinny rail, and the top buttpad screw is pulled out. Anyone have any suggestions for replacements?

Dillon 550C, manual powder drop with Auto thrower/trickler?

Get into a rhythm, and don’t discount the accuracy of a Dillon powder measure with a good flowing powder like CFE223 and 8208 XBR, especially once you find a load that tolerates a little powder variance.
