I disagree ... even though the .224 VLAK was made to fit AR magazines it is far far superior to the .223 Rem for longer distances because it can use higher BC projectiles than would be possible in .223 Rem. So it is THE .22 caliber for long distance almost matching 6.5 CDM performance. I think...- Alex D

Got my T3x Varmint .223 Rem. into its new drab today. Only AICS magazine manufacturer that fits this action and chassis is MDT 5 or 10 round polymer magazines. No. ZERO trimming or mods needed. Action dropped right in and fit perfectly...also the .223 MDT poly mag fits perfectly! For other calibers Magpul AICS mags are available ... I would have preferred those since they are better quality (Have them for my Bergara B-14 HMR in 6.5CDM) but Magpul...- Alex D

I just installed my T3x in a new Bravo ... the chassis comes with two cheek pieces, one with cut out needed for the Tikka action to clear it when actuating the bolt and another one without cut out.- Alex D

My HMR in 6.5 CDM is the most amazing rifle in terms of accuracy I ever owned. It is capable of sub 1/2 MoA groups with Hornady American Gunner 140gr. hollow points. Bergara HMR Pro
I would like a B-14 HMR Pro in .223 to replace my Tikka T3x Varmint. My "regular" B-17 HMR is the most amazing rifle I ever owned. I use a Vortex HS-T 6-24x50 scope on it. It shoots < 1/2" MoA at 100 yds with cheap Hornady American Gunner 6.5 CDM 140 grain. Picture below is a five shot group...- Alex D
