Looked at the JP, very nice, as is the McCrees. The JP is about the some $ as the McMillan though. So the McCree is a definate choice. No, I have the top as well, but the XLR said that their stock fits savage FCP-K. I called savage to find the difference, they said that the K has the bottom release, whereas the SR has top. The K cannot take the 10 rd mags. So therefore the same stocks cannot be used. So I didn't see how the XLR...- Dirt.diver

Lencomatt, the XLR chassis, I looked and it says it fits the FCP-K, not the SR. The difference is from what savage said, the K has a btm bolt release and the SR is a side bolt release, so it won't accept the same chassis. Have you tried the XLR?- Dirt.diver

I have a US Peace Keeper bag I bought and love. I have my rifle, but yet to purchase the scope, still searching. The bag is also a shooting mat.
