    MDT Oryx Chassis

Looking forward to reading the reviews from the testers that have them now. Haven't decided on a stock yet for a build that is in the works, but this one looks very promising. Can you update us here when review(s) that you mentioned get posted online?

    What bullets 6.5/.264 for PRS

I have been using either the RDF's or 140/147gr ELD-M with H4350. I can't find reason to spend more on other bullets when these shoot so well for what they cost. If other bullets were waaay more accurate, I could be swayed, but that hasn't been my experience.

    Brass lapua vs other

You don't have to use Lapua (or equivalent) brass to create accurate ammo. With enough prep time and sorting into weight groups, you can have cconsistent & accurate ammo with less expensive brass. With the Lapua brass, the weight is much more consistent and prep time is not needed or minimal...

    .224 Valkyrie

@padom ... did you happen to try the 88gr ELD-M with H4895? Just wondering how much of the 250fps it would bridge over the speed of the 88's with CFE223?

20 Practical bolt gun barrel length??

I have a 25" barrel on my 20 practical bolt gun. One of the most accurate rifles I own... pure blast to shoot, very entertaining in the gopher patch! It loves any tipped 32gr (Zmax, Varmageddon, Blitzking, etc) The 39gr Blitzking is also wicked accurate and the projectile of choice for the...

    .224 Valkyrie

Those numbers look very good for the 80gr ELD-M! I am about to get started loading in the next week for the 224 Valkyrie in a new bolt gun I'm putting together. I got a good buy on some 85gr RDF's, but was planning to try some 88gr ELD-M's as well, but now I'm thinking I may try the 80's first...

    Rifle Scopes Rings for 22lr

As already mentioned, the Burris Zee rings with the nylon inserts are good and won't put mark's on your scope tube. Inserts can add cant or not depending which ones you choose to install. The Burris Xtreme rings and Vortex Viper rings are also around $50 and are good for the money spent. The...

Lyman Gen 6 and Rcbs CM lite

Thanks guys! Read some reviews online as well and sounds like the Lite is at least as good or better than the old one. Not often something that is cheaper is as good or better! The best price I saw with only looking for a few minutes was around $230, so I guess I'll need to watch for sales/deals.

224V after 2500 rounds: Might need new barrel.

With slight keyholing mentioned, it will be interesting to hear how the lighter bullets behave. Maybe the heavies were just barely being stabilized and now some are just not stable anymore. Order for a new barrel sounds like a good idea regardless.

Lyman Gen 6 and Rcbs CM lite

Bought a regular CM a couple years ago and it has been amazing compared to hand weighing and trickling! One of my most satisfying purchases... I hate hand weighing! I assumed the CM lite was just a scaled down version of the regular? Will have to do some research... a second one would be...

Should you keep the origonal boxes for your gear?

I keep the boxes for optics for sure. I like to receive them that way if I buy used, so does anyone I've sold used optics to. Didn't think rifle boxes needed to be saved, but sold a rifle recently and went to a local gun shop to ask them for a used empty rifle box so I could ship the rifle...

Suppressors Alternatives to peel washer for TBAC brake?

Brownells also sells a package of varied thickness shims for a small amount of money that work fine. Just mix and match what you need. I've used my set for two brakes and it will probably work for one or two more.
