I am giving my daughter a ruger precision rimfire for her birthday, the Nikon 3-9 I planned on putting in it won’t get the job done to my liking, the parallax is set at 100yds and i found it difficult to be consistent

I am gonna put my vortex pst 4-16FFP on it for her to help with that problem

Are there some decent 30mm rings for around $50? It’s for a rimfire so recoil isn’t a problem

I know I should just get a sphur mount or something, but let’s be real, can I get away with something “cheaper” in a 22lr? Thinking about vortex “tactical rings”
Or Burris xtr rings

(I need 30mm and least 1.26” tall)

Burris Signature Zee rings are good and around $50, will alow you to put some cant in should you want too.

Ive used both the 1" and 30mm rings on 22lrs and they've been great.

As already mentioned, the Burris Zee rings with the nylon inserts are good and won't put mark's on your scope tube. Inserts can add cant or not depending which ones you choose to install.
The Burris Xtreme rings and Vortex Viper rings are also around $50 and are good for the money spent. The Vortex ones make me a bit nervous because the way they are made, one 'half' of the ring is a bit more than half, so you have to snap it onto the scope tube... makes me nervous I'm going to scratch the tube one of these times. But... haven't scratched a tube with them yet and they work fine.

I had Warne rings that were that design and managed to scratch a tube a little with them.
I wouldn't by them again as there are many options that you don't have to worry about.

I don’t need any cant, it’s got a 30moa base as is, thanks though

You don't have to put the cant in of you dont need it, they come with different inserts some with cant and others without. They are good rings, not yo heavy and bulky and wont mark the scope tube due to the inserts.

Burris extreme rings are pretty damn heavy and over kill for a 22 IMO, they may look the part on the RPR though

Looks like the zee rings won’t be tall enough but the Burris extreme rings will work (1.35”). I wanted something around 1.25 but I’d need to put in the money for Seekins rings,
