    Long distance .22LR - 300 yards 9/1/13

    Awesome shooting for anybody, much less at 14. I was prarie dog hunting 3yrs ago and killed a pdog @ 328yds on the 3rd shot with my 10-22 (adams&bennet heavy barrel and Fajen stock and Bushnell 4-12) using Rem. golden bullets

    Just Ordered My First Long Range Rifle--A Savage 12 LRP!

    53gr.vmax loads needed.

    I have an 18" Rock River Varminter AR and I shoot Hornady's max load of 26.2gr 8208. It will shoot dime size groups at 100 when I do my part. This is the load I also hit a P-dog at 500 with.

    Rifle Scopes Nikon Monarch vs Vortex Viper

    Re: Nikon Monarch vs Vortex Viper I have a 4-16 Monarch (Nikoplex) on my AR and a 4-16 Monarch (mil-dot) on my 7mm. No experience w/ the Vortex but I have been very happy with the Nikon's so far.

    Sendero SF2 or XCR TAC?

    Re: Sendero SF2 or XCR TAC? I recently got a Sendero SFII in 7 mag, working good so far. My gun doesn't like Hornady 139/162 SST's though, seems to prefer Sierra 168 MK's so far.
