    The Athlon Midas 2.5-15 is 26 oz. and has better glass than the Viper in my opinion. It is also easier on the wallet. The new Athlon Ares 2.5-15 has HD glass, locking turrets, 10mil per rotation turrets and comes in under 30 oz. it is a direct competitor to the Vortex pst gen 2.
