    Savage Accutrigger replacement.

FYI , I don't think the SAV2 works on rifles with the trigger guard bolt release. I'm not sure which style your's has.

    Suppressors TBAC 30BA on a .308 SBR?

Thanks! I'm probably going to stick to 16 inches, but just wanted to know my options.

Range Report Prvi Partizan 69 gr MV in a 14.5" barrel?

Fwiw, I get 2468 from PPU 75 grain in a 14.5" barrel. 2500 would seem like a good estimate for the 69 grain stuff.

    Suppressors TBAC 30BA on a .308 SBR?

I'm contemplating filing a form 1 for one of my bolt guns chambered in .308win. Does TBAC rate the 30BA for any minimum barrel length for .308? I'm thinking of a 12" barrel and shooting will be very low volume. Mainly just hunting and occasional target shooting.

Where can a guy go for long range training beyond what I learned in boot camp?

Black Hat Training Corp does precision rifle classes in central PA. They usually have shooting just past 1000 yards.

    Any 37mm Reloading enthusiasts?

NFA tax stamp. Its a registered destructive device, so I can load antipersonnel ammo and also so I can swap a 40mm barrel.

    Any 37mm Reloading enthusiasts?

I just got a stamp back for my 37mm. Going to start reloading soon. I'm looking at the new "cannon" cases from reloadableshells for buckshot loads.

Rifle Scopes Swfa 3-15 vs Bushnell 3-12

I have a Bushnell 3-12 and 2 SWFA HD scopes (5-20 and 1-6). I think that they are pretty close. I think the Bushnell has slightly better glass. The SWFA have better mag range and reticles (although the new Bushnell's might have better reticle options). The SWFA scopes seem subjectively more...

    Range Report ballistic data

I can't help you much, but if you Google "jbm ballistics", you will find a pretty good calculator. The you can use Google to try to find an approximate BC. Then chrono the load and run the data through JMB. This should get you very close.

    171 match burner for 7mm-08

I have experience with the 105gr match burner in .243win. I'm getting 2930ish fps and, using JBM with the published BC of .511 (G1), the data was perfect for shooting out to 1000 yards. 7.9 mils gets me to 1k using a 200 yard zero with a DA of ~1400.

Suppressors Long range subsonic 300BLK load?

This thread is very relevant to my interests. Tomorrow I should get the final pieces needed to finish my 300 upper. My sole intent is shooting subsonic as far as the travel in my optic will allow. I am interested in reading about others' experiences.

.243 Win 105 amax - starting charge weight

I'm using retumbo with cci200's in a stock rem barrel and I'm getting excellent accuracy. ETA- I also did not get great accuracy with Hornady 105 HPBTs. The Barnes 105s and SMK 107s shoot much better in my gun.

What does your range bag have to have?

I can't believe that no one has mentioned zip ties yet. You gotta have zip ties and 550 cord.

    Savage Precision Carbine 308

I have one. My accutrigger was defective. Had a frustrating time replacing it, but ended up with a rifle basix. Accu stock is OK if it fits you. Its a bit to long for me. Mine shoots FGMM 175s very accurately. However, I ended up getting a Remington for target work since it is much easier...

    Range Report .243 Remington

I just got back from shooting 1k with my stock rem .243 barrel. It stabilizes 105s and 107s fine. Mine likes the Barnes 105s and Berger 95 hybrids the best.

    Heavy weight 243 bullets

Can't say if accuracy will improve with a higher charge. However, at least 2 other folks on this board reported poor accuracy with 105's and 4350 with stock barrels. I'd suggest trying a slower powder. Once you find your charge, then you can tinker with seating depth.

    Heavy weight 243 bullets

Try Retumbo. I'm shooting bugholes with a stock r700 26" varmint barrel (with and without TBAC 30BA), 105 matchburners, and 49.0 grains* (RP brass, CCI200, 2.800 COAL, 2930 FPS at 900 FASL/2400 DA). The Hornady 105 HPBTs were showing promise with the same loads, but the matchburners...

Where do you guys find places to shoot?

Mifflin County Sportsman's Club has 1k yards. It would probably be a 3 hour drive from nj. Membership is $50/year and not difficult to join.
