    Labradar and suppressor

I use a 1.5x G36 optic with reticle indexed off of multiple points of the frame in a printed polycarbonate shell. It’s removable for transport and repeatable (enough). A straw would work, but I wanted to make something more elegant. I originally started with just the optic tube, and worked ok...

    Labradar and suppressor

I made an optic for mine, so I can aim it accurate enough that I can set it to doppler. Unless people are shooting across my lane, it’s my preferred method because I done need to worry about my position.

Lab radar Sight solution 3D printed

Tyler, there are some decentralized services where you can add your printers to their network, and I think the first 2 through wt808's link are like that. There's also makexyz which some people are pushing as the "new 3dhubs" after the latter did their community printers dirty. Ultimately, I...

Lab radar Sight solution 3D printed

Thanks, yeah these are my favorite inserts to use. They line up great, and they're really strong when you back them up with more than 2 walls. I like using these, and also those expanding inserts with a flange, but I'll use heat to set both of them for some added strength. This prototype is in...

Lab radar Sight solution 3D printed

My design is pretty finalized for the first round of testing. I've added some reinforcement for long term durability, including bronze bushings and heat set threaded inserts. I'm playing around with the idea of making a version with a powerful green laser, but I don't think I'll be able to see...

Lab radar Sight solution 3D printed

I've had a similar issue, and it was most annoying with a pistol actually. I originally used a G36 optic tube in the notch instead of the straw, then designed and printed a mount. I still have a little bit of work to do to finish up the caps for the tension mounting.
