    .308 ammo question

    I have had really good luck with 175 smk's and the 178 amax and hpbt. I have also had good luck with the 155 gr lapua they will all work well 600 and beyond. I would try them all and see what works best for you. Good luck!

    for .308 Winchester 1000 yard 168 or 175 grain and why?

    I have shot 175smk to 1200 from my TRG 22 20" with a Elite Iron Bravo suppressor using 44.5 gr IMR 4064 varget and RL 15 using federal match 210 primers. I averaged 2650 with varget 2678 with RL 15 and 2692 with IMR4064 all three performed surprisingly well at 1000 and beyond with 175 smks...

    I use a flatline ops and love it! I can easily see my bubble with it flipped out with out having to come off of the target for follow up shots.
