    You're right Magnumdood! I have a Zeiss 3.5 15 conquest HD on one of my other bolt rifles. great scope but that's way more glass than I need for a short distance brush gun.

The NF fits my needs for a more "plain" reticle as does the slightly smaller objective. I plan to go ahead and order one and see how it compares to my Leupold...

    I do like the Firdot on my 1x4 VXR. I am not sure a 6x is enough power for me to accurate out several hundred yards. The 3x9 may be a good choice. Thanks Crosshair!

    Sounds good HuDisCo. I load most of my stuff but it is always nice to have a factory ammo on hand that shoots good. I have good luck with the Hornady 165gr SST too in my other Rem700 tactical. Makes dead animals on contact!
