    2 OCW. 2 Rifles. 1 Load?

this is not a large spread of charges like three grains or something else. I'm new to the OCW analysis method so I can only say your 41.9 or 41.8 would be good to try to repeat the accuracy in another session. OCW seems easier to apply in a larger spread of charges.

Help me build a .30-06 load for this rifle. New to precision hand loading...

A better rest and larger scope might help here also. There's a bit of shooter variance showing on the targets making stuff harder to see but I see the scatter at 48.7 grains and good group at the high end. I wish I could check my load data quickly on how hot the top end load is.

300 WM what would you do?

Thanks for the ideas, they seem to follow what's in my manuals. I'd like to start with the 200's but I will try some 155's to see the velocity, accuracy, and recoil differences.

300 WM what would you do?

I have a pretty new Savage Tactical 300 WM with 24" barrel and about 150 rounds of brass. Powders are maybe four lb IMR 4350, 3- H4831, Surplus 4895 6 lb Varget and 5 lb IMR 8208. Bullets are 500 count SMK 200gr HPMK, 500 178 HPMK, and 1500 155gr HPMK. What combo would you try for 1000 yards...

    OCW results WTF?

I like what you are getting and would load some more for the next range trip. The next range trip I might also try more with your lower node at your best seating depth. That would be affirming your upper load and maybe getting something from the lower node. You might also go back and see...

    "Cheap" primers

For an AR in .223/5.5 it's generally recommended you get the Tula 556 small rifle magnum powder. I switched to Wolf primers when they came out and did not try many others in my AR reloading. I ran into problems igniting WC846 surplus ball powder with Wolf SRM and got CCI #34 to cover that. The...
