Sidearms & Scatterguns Staccato CS or Wilson Combat EDC X9 w/3.25 inch barrel

I have had both. Go with the Staccato. You won't be sorry.

    LMT .308 MWS

Yes. Over time as parts became available, I bought them. Upper, barrel, lower, BGC, trigger were all purchased separately.

    LMT .308 MWS

I have my LMT-MWS-HS configured with a 16" barrel (for pig hunting). I put this rifle together over about a year and a half. I was concerned about accuracy being that all the parts were made separately. I am no longer concerned. This group (obviously my best this session) was with this load: -...

I broke one of the old ones. I guess that is why. Failures.

Please help me spend my money...I'm down to two

LMT for my money. I think KAC is overpriced and offers nothing LMT doesn't. My MWS is currently wearing a 16" 308 barrel but, I have another 308 20" and a 6.5 CM 20". You wont' be sorry.

    LMT .308 MWS

Firing pin tip broke off in my LMT MWS 7.72. It must have happened on the last shot that I fired because next range session, click no boom. I was shooting it suppressed with "service rifle" loads. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I sure wish this thing had an adjustable gas block.

    Trigger Time SCAR 20S 7.62

Nice shooting rifle. Pretty good groups for a chrome lined barrel in my opinion. Put in a SureFire SOCOM suppressor and the group tighten up a bit.

    LMT .308 MWS

It is the grip that came on the lower when I bought it about 6 months ago. Standard, I guess.

    Best .223/5.56 soft point/hunting bullet

I have had very good luck with Sierra Game King 65 grain. They are not that sexy looking and the lead noses get a little miss shapen but, they group well and are deadly on hogs. Also, Berger 77 Tactical OTM works well but are much more expensive and harder to find. I load Lapua brass with...

    LMT .308 MWS

I put a Spuhr 0 MOA mount on my mine. No problem hitting steel at 700 yards with a 16" barrel. Pushing a 168 VLD Berger just under 2600 fps. These are obviously not ELD rifles. Mine is great from CQB to 700 yards!

Used Forward Assist for First Time Ever

Out getting some trigger time behind my DD M4A1 this weekend. Pulled the trigger on one round and heard a faint pop, no bang. The bolt was open by about 1/4 inch but I could not clear the round. I was shooting reloads and suspected I had a squib. Pulling as hard as I could with both hands with...

    Anyone running a DDMK18 Suppressed?

I do. A bit over gassed with my 5.56 Surefire SOCOM but, as long as you are not doing mag dumps, it won't be too trashy. I have since SBR'd this rifle and put a DD stock on it.

Well crap. I am glad I got one that works.

    LMT .308 MWS

I actually prefer the LM8 upper over MLOK. I think it is stronger and more robust than MLOK. If I had a bunch of MLOK components, I might feel differently but, I don't. I just bought a few factory rails from LMT and the whole system is very solid. Maybe someone can chime in on the advantages of...

    LMT .308 MWS

Yes. They had the Best of Texas PRS last weekend. I did not get to shoot it.

    LMT .308 MWS

That is not right. Mine is smooth and mates perfectly with the lower.

    New to bolt guns.

The kind of accuracy you seek is gong to cost some coin $$$. Out of the box is not going to cut it. You will also need to know a thing or two about reloading. Take a look at Impact Precision. I would look at the 6mm Dasher or 6mm Creedmoor for competition. Get a bigger caliber for tactical...
