    hell, it's just paint...it'l come off if i get bored but i'm digging it. That first stroke on the scope was a lil tough on me but hopefully I got it masked good enough! I personally hate camo colored rifles for recreational guns. We are gonna flip it and paint the other side tomorrow!

    which accurate mag do I need?

    .338 lapua. COAL is 3.755. accurate mag site says lengths given (3.715, 3.775, 3.850) are length of magazine. Brownells site says the lengths are the length of cartridge. So for anyone who has these, would the 3.775 or 3.85 be the correct mag.

    Pitfalls of Buying Tikka vs. Remington

    Cost of factory rounds I dont think is a fair comparison of 308 vs the 6.5's either. Sure you can get crap 308 ammo cheaper, but for solid quality ammo that I would want to be shooting out of a nicer rifle the costs come closer to negating each other.

    was shooting a t2, ordered up the EH1 in the group buy and am digging it pretty well now so it may be worth looking into for ya. If you are worried about a heavy rifle skip the t2a. I use the triad stock pack, no problem with cheek weld and you have a place to store lil' items you may need

    For Mideast elr shooting the guys at vestals in abingdon are top of the list. The guys at bangsteel.com are also great to shoot with as well, I think you can book private range session with them out to about mile.

    Custom Build: What is standard practice...

    I personally like to gather parts myself, when i have everything then get it to the smith to assemble. Helps the smith out also because they aren't keeping up with your parts, there are no excuses as to "that's not what I wanted", and prevents the smith getting badmouthed for poor delivery...
