I think she almost has the manners molded in style down.

hell, it's just paint...it'l come off if i get bored but i'm digging it. That first stroke on the scope was a lil tough on me but hopefully I got it masked good enough! I personally hate camo colored rifles for recreational guns. We are gonna flip it and paint the other side tomorrow!

I wasn't trying to put you down or anything-- I was being sincere, haha.

It takes a real man to be seen on the line with a neon pink, green, yellow, and orange finger painted rifle.

I might let my kid paint a cheap Boyd's stock for a .22 or something-- I could see that being a treasured keepsake from their first rifle.

Bonding. Nothing like it. Problem is, you will feel like an ass when you want paint off. The whole "this is babies first painted rifle" will go through your mind. Lol
Good work dad

I do this with my kids, the happines on their faces when I let them jack with something very important to me is amazing, because they know I love them more. Props to you sir.

When you show up with that rifle no one will say a word as everyone will assume you are a Tier I bass ass.
A man with an ego worries more about what he thinks of people than what they think of him.
I would top coat that with a couple of coats of clear coat as it is sure to become a treasure in the back of the gun safe some time in the distant future.

That is awesome, thanks for sharing. Didnt appear to affect the accuracy from what I witnessed today, mighty fine shooting by a mighty fine dad! Its an honor share the firing line with you bro! Clearcoat those memories and carry it with pride dad!

Exactly!! What's this 10 character thing???

I'm impressed! I know that I would not have allowed or encouraged that when I had my children, even had I the wherewithal to own such a nice rifle back then. Kudos! And good shooting to you!

OK, I'll admit that I laughed out out at this one ;)

At some point this winter, maybe I'll sit down with my 3-year-old son and do something similar.

I bet your 3 year old would be perfect to complete what the original plan was for this rifle. It started out as trying to get her handprints and footprints on it. Didnt work out that great though. A 3 year old may be just right for the job though!
