    Re: JP silent captured spring i bought one for my JP LRP-07. It is easy to install and remove. it is definitely quieter. i installed after the Rocky Mountain 3G match, so have only put few rounds down range with it. i will wring it out next spring.

    i have two IOR 3-18X MIL/MIL FFP scopes. when cranked up to higher power the eye relief is very tight (critical). are all higher power scopes this way?

    Re: rem 700 .308 wont hold groups one of the causes of flyers is inconsistent neck tension. you might try same lot cases, and neck crimp. (either taper or factory type neck crimp) i was told that from a Sierra guy.

    Re: need to get started i found a Savage 110BA in .308 with a Bushnell 3200 10x40 scope for $1750. i don't particularly care for the scope but the price on the rifle seems fair. any particular bitches about this rifle?
