    Re: Long range .22 shooting question sounds like the round starts to tumble right around the 200yard mark. i picked up some lead after it hit the drum and they were flat with the rear of the bullet in the center.i picked up about 20 and all looked like they were flying true till impact.

    Re: .22lr at 500 yards 8.5 inch target yea wind is a pain at distance, i shoot 300yrds at my sister ranch but its in a meadow so wind isnt an issue. from 50 to 300yrds it was 1moa for windage and was tagging a steel 5gallon drum all day.

    Re: New FV-SR. Whats WRONG??? my savage started out the same way, about .75in groups at 50 then after a brick of cci std velocity ammo groups started shrinking. now after a couple thousand rounds threw it it shoots groups in the .2-.3in range at 50yrds.

    Re: Ballistics App? i have been using g1 on bulletflight and it has been great out to 300yrds, just make sure your ammo info is right and it will be close then fine tune your dope.

    Re: .22lr at 500 yards 8.5 inch target nice shooting man, thats about a 92moa drop with a 50yrd zero. longest i have shot so far is just shy of 300yrds,if i could get a day off work i could make it to the 500yrd range.
