I do not have any thing bigger then a .22 I am setting up a gun for my uncle. its a 7mm rem mag. I will be shooting it sometime this weekend, making long range charts and testing charts... it should be fun!

I have shot at this range with other guns with a 50 yard zero. backing the scope off to the minimum x and just holding over.... and if you look straight above the target to that snow covered mountain at the top, that is where the cross hairs were

Brings back old memories of using hold overs for everything,no equiptment available at those times to think about holding dead on something. Great job !!!

nice shooting man, thats about a 92moa drop with a 50yrd zero. longest i have shot so far is just shy of 300yrds,if i could get a day off work i could make it to the 500yrd range.

It is ALOT of fun! a few things i have learned from shooting that range with a .22, difference in ammo fps spread is HUGE. and you have to be super consistent with the way that you shoot. oh yeah and wind.... wind is a bitch at that range. there have been days that im holding like 10 feet for wind ha ha!!

yea wind is a pain at distance, i shoot 300yrds at my sister ranch but its in a meadow so wind isnt an issue. from 50 to 300yrds it was 1moa for windage and was tagging a steel 5gallon drum all day.
