    Night Vision IR Illuminator Mounts

So here's the issue I ran into last night. Went out with a friend and we were set up on a pipe line. Wide open space. We noticed that when the other person had their IR on we could see MUCH better than when we used our own IR. It was like you were looking through all the backside of the...

    Night Vision IR Illuminator Mounts

I do have a vtac but I thought it was going to hit the clip so I mounted it offset down which was not good at all. Didn't have a wrench handy to correct it. On a badger EFR with a torch pro. I guess I should have mentioned that. Should I clear the NV unit ok using the VTAC mount?

    Night Vision IR Illuminator Mounts

I have a PVS-30 on the way and need some advice on mounting my Torch Pro. I tried out a friend's units first and we noticed how far off the beam was on the Torch when we went out. What do you guys use to get the beam as close to centered up as possible with the scope?

    7 SAUM, H1000, GAP 4S Brass

First one I'll list is my load with Berger 175 Elite Hunters. Just finished my ladder test yesterday and from the numbers off my 3 weights I chronod it should be right at 2900fps which I have already found using Norma brass to be the best node for this barrel/bullet combo. Ran into pressure...

    7 SAUM, H1000, GAP 4S Brass

Hey guys, in my search for 7 SAUM info it never seems I can find a load I can use to go off of whether it's someone else using different brass, powder, etc. I'd like to keep this thread to strictly loads with H1000 and Hornady GAP 4S brass necked up to 7mm. If nothing else at least only loads...

    Single stage AR triggers

They are not quite that light but Wilson Combat triggers are nice. Had one in my last AR and it felt great. I am currently using a hyper fire 24C. That is one light, crisp trigger!

    Bushwacker flip up scope covers

That is what comes with the Vortex Razor and I do like them much better. I did one small competition with them including running through a small version of the Rifles Only mouse trap. I kind of expected to break one but they are still working fine.

Hunting & Fishing Heading to Texas; Inquiring game to shoot.

Jong I don't recall the name of the place but it was in the Concan area. Another thing is he may have just been high on his population at the time. If you have any interest in exotics I would ask the owner if there is anything specific he needs thinned out and you may get a better price...

Hunting & Fishing Heading to Texas; Inquiring game to shoot.

If you are wanting to hunt something besides hogs there are exotic leases all over. I don't know anyone in that area but exotics such as axis tend to go pretty cheap in South TX. I got married on the Frio and my father in law found a place about 5 minutes away that had axis doe for $100 a pop...

    Short .308 stabilizing with 1in12?

I will be using CFE 223 and 178amax, should get a little more velocity than varget. At 24" currently I am pushing 175SMK 2775fps with a can.

    Short .308 stabilizing with 1in12?

I have been wanting to cut my AI down to 16.5in for a while now and while the velocity loss wouldn't be a concern I am wandering about stabilizing the bullet. I am shooting 175 matchkings and 178 amax bullets out of the factory AI 24" 1in12 twist barrel with no problems. Would chopping it down...

    .308 baseline load

I am running just off my lands. Its pretty close to mag length
  14. HonkeyMcGee88

    .308 baseline load

With just about the same load, only difference being length I am getting around 2650fps. This is a 10rd group I shot with my AI at 100. Around the 7th shot I pulled the one that is outside the group and knew as soon as I pulled the trigger. [image]

Is this HUGE jump to the lands in my R700 normal?

Like the other guys have said go try it out, chances are it will work fine. The Bergers I shot weren't hitting the lands but the still shot just fine, I just decided to change to a matchking because I could closer to the lands with it.

Is this HUGE jump to the lands in my R700 normal?

I'm not a 700 guy but with factory barrels I seem to recall most people not being able to hit the lands in a magazine. My advice would be to use a bullet that is more tolerant to being jumped. I just purchased an AI and with the factory barrel I can't hit the lands with a Berger HVLD so I am...

New AI AX and AT pics with rifle Weights!

I didn't feel like taking the crap off mine but with a Vortex Razor, 35MM Spuhr Mount, and a 6-9 Harris Bipod it was 16lbs 1.5oz.

    Work Boots

My father in law is a lineman and wears hoffmans. Checked with him today and he wears the same size so I am going to try them on and see how I like them.

    Work Boots

I called and they said they could put the lower profile sole BUT not with the steel toe on the smokejumpers.

    Work Boots

I tried a pair of Red wings on one time and was not too impressed. Never did try them again. Most people I know either love them or hate them.
