    Is a LA/SA multi caliber rifle possible with a Terminus Zeus?

    I've been thinking about doing this very thing but with a bighorn origin. Been looking at the zeus as well. Can't wait to see how the short action cartridges perform. I don't think you'll have any issues.

    223 for 1000 yard match?

    What rifle are you shooting them out of? In my 24" bolt gun I was getting right about 2700 fps with 24g of varget and a 77 smk. No pressure signs and I was seated at 2.260 coal. This is in a custom action and barrel. In my experience factory chambered guns seem to show pressure signs sooner.

    Impact and origin are really just a different feature set. For an all around precision rifle I like my origin.

    I've found pretty much all published max load data is conservative when it comes to loading for bolt action precision rifles. Berger is really a joke. I've used 24 grains of varget with the 77 smk at 2.260 coal. That's a very common load for the high power guys shooting them out of ARs.

    When I go to the final checkout at powder valley it won't let me use the free shipping code. This is just for bullets too. I always have problems with either their coupon codes or their posted deals not applying.

    Tac shot decent groups for me but not a good SD/ES. Still shot pretty well at 600 yards.

    Technically you can use whatever shell holder you want for your other dies you just have to use that same one every time. I use a regular shell holder for decapping and bullet seating. Easier to remember that rather than one of the 5 competition sizes.

    Too much and you get dents from hydraulic pressure.
