    Carbon Six barrels?

    I ordered one a week ago, or so with the Christmas sale price. For the price, I'm willing to give it a try. Will probably sit in the safe for a long time before I get around to building on it, or fitting it to another receiver as part of a switch barrel.

    Those cans on his sight look remarkably similar to the Diversified Machine products. OP could have bought the parts and done it himself with e-form 1 quicker. I'd hate to pay $1095 for their flagship can and find out it has about 300 dollars worth of DM parts.

    Makes sense, I wanted 7mmRM because back when the ammo shelves were bare a few years ago, there was ALWAYS 7mmRM in stock! I wanted my dedicated hunting rifle to be a common caliber, easy to find in any store and a non-wildcat.

    Putting a case in 500 degree Celsius salt does not immediately heat the case to 500 degrees Celsius.

    Never had that. I drop them in a home depot bucket with about 5 inches of water, take them out and put them in an oven at 250 for 20 minutes and they are good to go, no salt.

    I just purchased Scott Wiechal's brake from Live Oak Accuracy. He bores out the brake for your specific caliber when you contact him, or at least he did for me, a 7mm. Great guy to deal with.

    I have an ACC 300TM, which is a direct thread. Great sounding can, but you have to keep an eye on it because it will back off after a bit of firing. I really like the way it sounds on my Beanland 16.5" 308.

    I have an original Terrapin I bought back when they were 2K. Has been sitting in my safe since I took delivery. I think I put batteries in it twice just to play with it. Hope when I finally get around to using it that it works for a while and was worth the cost.

    I was interested in those actions and was looking around the net for reviews. Seems a lot of people were turned off by the thread measurements. I'm assuming any smith worth his salt can thread a barrel any pitch right? Any trueing needed on these or are they good right out of the box?

    There’s only one answer you’ll get from this crowd... My stamp for a Crux ArchAngel 338 was approved 10/25. Its for a PCR 338 Norma. If I had to choose another I’d try an AWC PSR XL or a KGMade Rogue 338.

    My Trust purchased a Crux ArchAngel 338 from silencershop on 2/23/18, Check cashed 4/1/2018, Form 3 disposed of 4/20/2018, Stamp approved 10/25/2018. Nice lady at NFA branch said it would be mailed in the next 5 -7 days.
