    OR... just use the 1" and 2" standard that is included in the OD mics. You already have those. I bet they're even traceable. No need to spend more $$$..

    I like those .200 per rotation calipers. There was a reason for them.... Use with pride. I kept most of my tools when I switched fields, and have since gotten most of my dads tools when he was a tool maker. Good stuff...

    88 gr velocities in 223 Wylde or 223 Rem Match barrels?

    I was just a few thou shy of 2.5 as well. Also, my barrel tends to be a bit faster than what most others achieve. Don't know why, luck of the draw, I guess. Mine seems to run about 75-100 fps faster than same load in similar barrels of same length.

    I made a switch barrel out of my Origin with a standard bolt head and a 223 bolt head. The repeatability tracks excellent between the two barrels, I dial my offset into the scope and run it. Now that I think of it..... wish I had bought two of them. But then I'd need another scope, another...

    Agreed, it would likely work well... but for $30 you can get an off-brand of above, and it is reversible if you don't like it. Just a thought. I always hate grinding on my expensive tools, but sometimes there is just no other way.
