Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

The newer scopes have much better turrets compared to the scopes that first came out.

Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36x56

That’s what I thought would be the end result but that’s not the case. I only did it to one scope and while it works, I decided to just use “O” rings to hold the turrets up to prevent them from locking

Either. The turret can still move up and down but is engaged in both positions

    Help Interpreting DOPE

You found your answer. I used 0.326 in Shooter and all but a couple lined up (those that varied were only by 0.1 mil).

    Giraud trimmer blade position

All of my cutters required some tweaking due to the difference between factory neck diameters (he uses new brass) and my fired brass sized to my desired neck tension. Also, brass from different manufacturers can cause small variations

    TAB Gear Quality/Warranty

As usual, Tony is a standup guy and his attention to customer satisfaction is above board; he, like many of the vendors on the "Hide", always treat their customers the way they would want to be treated and accept responsibility for any communication issues.

    ABMobile True Up

Have you done a tracking test on your scope? There can be mechanical deviations in your optic that need to be accounted for.

TL3 action in 223 CRF or PF?

We have 3-4 guys shooting .223s using both Origins and TL-3s with CRF without issues; as mentioned, .223 Ackleys don’t play well in CRF actions in my experience

    Accuracy using MagnetoSpeed Sporter Chronograph

I would suggest looking into the Wiser mount. It attaches to your chassis and has a rod extending parallel to the barrel where you attach your bayonet thus taking it off the barrel and eliminating the POI shift

Before I ruin this nice brass how are the cool kids resizing?

Because of the quality and consistency of Lapua brass, many remove the expander ball and use a FL die with neck bushing; I use the Redding Type “S” Full Length dies. I’ve never seen or had the need to perform an extra step and use a mandrel on my necks

Who hates/loves their customers the most?

I had totally forgotten about Zermatt,; Ray and crew do an awesome job. As for PVA, I think Josh went through some growing pains when he first started up his shop. He's always produced quality barrels but running a business is a lot different than running a shop and he suffered through...

Who hates/loves their customers the most?

Customer service is more than what a company does when there’s a problem, it’s also how they treat you as a customer in general. Do they respond to inquires in a timely manner. This includes answering the phone, replying to emails, returning messages via voicemail, honoring lead times, keeping...

    I’m rolling with a 30” 9 twist SAAMI chamber using 225 ELD-Ms over 77.2 grains of H1000 going 2947 fps…very accurate load

    One-Mile Success

I agree lash...I’ve got the big boomers that get out there well but it’s nice play a little with a lesser caliber just to have some fun. I’ve had impacts at targets over a mile with my smaller rifles including a .223, 6 Dasher and 6.5x47 Lapua; hit percentages are not what the larger magnum...

I’ve mounted several Remington 700s using Remage barrels in KRG Bravos without any issues whatsoever.

AI AT out to one mile…can I? Or not worth trying…

Hell, I get out there with a lowly .223 shooting 75 grain ELD-Ms. Hit ratio averages around 1 in 5 rounds in calm winds but let the wind start gusting over 8 mph and all bets are off; hit ratio gets embarrassing. Of the smaller calibers, any of the 6.5s, 7mms and larger work better than .223s...
