    Suppressors Area 419 suppressor mounts

I’m running the Area 419 Hellfire with a modified AAC 7.62 SD suppressor using the Omega adapter. I’m also using the Hellfire muzzle brake which is very effective. Repeatability is excellent and consistent. The only thing to watch for is carbon build up on the taper surface which is easily...

    6.5 Creedmoor semiauto loads

42 grains H4350 140 ELDM Starline SRP cases CCI 450 Seated to 2.800” I use this load in an Aero AR308 with 22” Ballistic Advantage barrel, runs 2717 FPS and a 26” Criterion barrel on a bolt gun that runs 2811 FPS. Both rifles shoot great with the same load, much easier since will work in either.

    Larue MBT-2s Trigger

I think the Larue compares very well to Giessele Super Dynamic Combat I’ve had for some time and for the price it’s hard to beat.

    Cheek pad for gen3 PRS

Roll your own with this, and have more for replacement later. It’s much more comfortable than the plastic cheek riser. It’s easy to cut with a razor and adheres well. I’ve been using this on two rifles for awhile now and it’s been pretty durable...

Looking for the "glock" of ARs.....

Since you are leaning to 6.5 Creedmoor your options are more limited and will cost more. I would look at getting an Aero Precision M5. I have three and have been very happy with them, all have been very accurate and reliable. You can assemble an Aero platform in 6.5 Creedmoor for $1200-$1500...

Best spotting scope for $1,000 or less

I have a Gold Ring with the Impact MOA reticle. Leupold’s item number is 120373. I ordered it on line a couple years ago, don’t remember where. I paid around $1200 new in the box. I’m seeing these on line for $1400 now. I did buy mine during a Black Friday sale with a pretty good discount. You...

Best spotting scope for $1,000 or less

There are three reticle options (1 MOA and 2 Mil) on the Leupold Gold Ring from the factory. You do not need to send it back for installation.

    Mack Bro’s SS Evo

I ordered one last week and was told to expect shipping in two weeks. It looks like it will be a good action.

Best spotting scope for $1,000 or less

I have a Leupold Gold Ring 12-40x60 with the MOA reticle and l’m very happy with it. Glass is clear, it’s a fairly small package and the reticle is easy to read. There are three reticles available in this scope, two mil and one MOA. They are a little out of your price range, however I would...

    HELP! Aero M5 not running

Finding what works would be less complicated if you fully open the gas block and find a load that operates in your rifle. Aero AR 308’s are designed to work with 165-168 grain bullets. Find something that works, then start dialing the gas block in. Mike in Fl is giving you good advise.

Training Courses Rifles only - Anyone looking to attend Precision Rifle 1&2?

This is an overview of the class I posted in another thread earlier this year. I’m sure you will learn a lot, on occasion feel overwhelmed and frustrated and really enjoy your time there and with the group. Good luck. “Jacob focuses on fundamentals of marksmanship; natural point of aim...

Training Courses Rifles only - Anyone looking to attend Precision Rifle 1&2?

I’m sure you’ll be glad you did. It’s a great class. FYI, if it helps there is a bunk house on site you can stay in, nothing fancy but serves the purpose. There are several great places to eat close by. Go early spring or fall. Late spring and summer are too hot.

    HELP! Aero M5 not running

I’ve found AR 308’s not as “Leggo” friendly as the AR15 platform. I have 2 Aero AR308’s, an 18” .308 and a 22” 6.5 Creedmoor. I had to work getting to .308 running with a mixed bag of parts. Once I gave up and used all Aero parts it’s running fine. For the 6.5 Creedmoor I originally used a...

    HELP! Aero M5 not running

Is your rifle running now? If not, what ammo are you using? Have you tried more than one load? I would try loads in the 147-168 grain range. You may find your rifle runs well with some, not so good with others.
