    @LibertyOptics is having a YUUUGE sale on Sightron SIII's. The 6-24x50 has a FFP mil reticle. The turrets are only 5 mil per turn, but you never get everything you want in a scope (especially for $500)

    You're GTG. I've been using one as a standalone for years. And to the OP, all of the smaller Garmin units will have the same problem with reception. The Garmin GPSMAP and InReach Explorer+ get much better reception, but also cost substantially more.

    Tactical Advantage has live inventory and they ship quickly. My only advice is don't get a MOLLE cummerbund unless you're running a heavy load. It's like Picatinny rails; most people are carrying way too much shit they don't need. Oh, and don't buy cheap shit.
