    I can confirm. I have two sets of ultra rings and neither of them will tighten fully on the badger rail. I am also in search of an ultra rail.

    Be sure to get the proper inlet stock if you do. I think the M4 is a BDL type inlet.

    That is correct. The current production badger M24 mounts are too narrow for the original leupold ultra mounts. Normal picatinny type scope rings will fit though. If anyone has an older wider mount let me know. I will trade/buy it from you.

    KAC provides full support for all of their products. They will rebarrel it for you at a reasonable cost. Just send it back to them. Mine took a couple weeks.

    Ultimate ar-10

    Odysseus there are many cartridges that outperform the 6.5 creedmoor. The advantages of the 6.5 cm are: less recoil, decent barrel life (compared to say 6 cm) , and most importantly for lots of people, easily available factory ammo.

    Same experience here, I was unable to get my 224 to group. JP put in a lot of effort and at the end of the day they offered to switch the caliber of my rifle.

    Have you shot or had any experience with the 20s? While I prefer the SR25, the differences are splitting hairs and the SCAR 20s is an excellent rifle in its own right. I may have some complaints with the SCAR, but only in comparison to the SR25. The SCAR is still an impressive platform...

    Now that I've owned the Scar 20 for awhile, I will update my comparison and say I prefer the SR25 platform. The SCAR is finicky. Screws are constantly coming loose, random thermal shifting that is not repeatable. I'm getting pitting through the chrome and major copper buildup at the throat...
