    In my experience: IQ is not significantly different. Parallax seems to be more forgiving on the 5-25. My vote is for the 5-25. The extra power over 25 does not seem to be useful in any situation I have encountered yet. I currently have the 7-35 an would trade it for the 5-25.

    Not sure if you found a solution. But get the 20xw. It beats the Zeiss and kowa spotting scopes I have looked through. Have not seen a Swarovski.

    The 1-8 is not enough scope for the 20s. At 11lbs, it's better off with more magnification. If you want to do a 1-8, get a SCAR 17s IMO.

    The HK is more accurate with FGMM, But not substantially. The SR25 seems to be easier to shoot past 600. But It is also a heavier gun with better trigger. The Geissele trigger in the SR25 is far better than the Geissele in the HK.
