Suppressors Why have no manufacturers made a 9mm pass through suppressor (like OSS, Larue Tranquilo...)?

If it makes you feel any better, I still get gassed running a TiRant 9 on an MPX with an adjustable gas plug (I might be able to turn it down one more setting).

    Suppressors Is it Quieter?

There are too many variables to be able to give you a blanket answer. In general, larger 30 caliber cans tend to be quieter than .223/5.56 cans due to the increase in internal volume (a lot of 30 caliber cans tend to be in the 7-10 inch range, while .223/5.56 cans tend to be in the 5-8 inch...

    20 caliber build

FWIW, I couldn't get them moving all that fast out of a .204 Ruger. 3300-3400 or so. At that point, the drop and drift were damned close to 39-40gr pills around 4000 (but obviously with more energy). I figured that the 55s would make for a good 'yote load, but for my uses (prairie dogs), the...

    Latest year for AI ATs?

That is correct, re: getting low on the gun, but it isn't by much if you're running an optic with a 56mm objective. When I had the AT stock on mine, the cheek rest was raised by maybe 1/4-3/8 of an inch, the rifle was equipped with the "low" rail, and my optic (Razor 4.5-27x56) was mounted in...

    Co-AX, RCBS Or Redding T7?

I'm not what you'd call a high volume reloader, but in probably a thousand or so decapping operations, I haven't broken a pin yet. There have been times when I probably could have broken the pin had I been running the handle hard (read: the brass had off-center flash holes), but being... I don't...

    Co-AX, RCBS Or Redding T7?

I have a CoAx that I use as my primary press for decapping, resizing, and seating, and a Hornady LnL single stage for things like bullet pulling, swaging, and using things like the Larry Willis die. Nonetheless, I am eyeing the A419 Zero pretty hard....

    Latest year for AI ATs?

OP- as long as it has the small firing pin, you've got the latest and greatest. I know you just got it, and I know it isn't cheap, but the AT retrofitted with the AX buttstock is pretty much the ultimate (short action) AI, IMO.

    Gas Block

Re: Superlative, the thing I don't like about it is the fact that it vents, rather than simply restricting gas flow. If your gas block is under your hand guard, this might end up being an issue.

Difference between Ruger American Predator and Ranch?

Ruger is showing a version of the RAP with the same length barrel as the RAR.

Difference between Ruger American Predator and Ranch?

AFAIK, there is no significant difference between the two rifles you're asking about beyond the obvious (colors, factory muzzle brake, etc...). Barrel length and twist rates are the same, as are actions/triggers. Having a RAR myself, I can recommend the Timney trigger for them as a nice upgrade...

    Cleaning the easy way

Some etching that occurred on the exterior of a neighbor's shotgun barrel that I was asked to clean up. It had a few light rust spots from improper storage (among other issues). The spots that I ended up re-touching with cold bluing were conspicuously larger than the original rust spots.

    Cleaning the easy way

Pro-tip: don't use this method on carbon steel barrels. CLR will pit them if allowed to dwell/soak.

Dt srs a1 vs q the fix

IMO, the biggest advantage to the DTA (aside from the flexibility to go from .223 Rem to 338LM in a single chassis) is its overall length with long barrels. If that feature doesn't do much for you in your use case then it's probably not the solution for you, as there are less expensive/lighter...

Accuracy International AT Rifle AX Butt Conversion Pale Brown

Are you asking about differences (other than the buttstock) between the AT rifle and the AT AICS? To my knowledge, the only difference is in the notch for the bolt handle (the AICS has a larger notch in that location to allow for larger (than AI rifle) bolt handles to clear). Beyond that...
