The marks on the bullet don’t really look like they were made by rifling lands, but anything is possible I guess. Measure your freebore, it is possible the bullet is getting jammed in the lands and getting pushed into the case.
You would have to amp the motor while its running under a full load. If your breaker hasn’t tripped then you aren’t hitting 15A, so I wouldn’t worry about that part.
Forgive my ignorance on the sport, but are you required to shoot issued match ammo or could you just show up with handloads? Seems like the easiest way to mitigate ‘recoil’.
Had a glass of pappy van winkle family reserve last night. Most expensive thing I’ve ever drank. Hard to give it a good review off one glass, but it was surprisingly smooth for its age, pretty mellow flavor profile, notes of vanilla and honey, maybe toffee. Not a very strong barrel taste...
I take exception to that comment. Miami-Dade is just a shithole, but there are still plenty of conservatives there. Any major population center is going to have a liberal edge in numbers, not everyone can be smart and think for themselves.
Peak of the emi was from wed-thurs, should be subsiding by now. Try again tomorrow see if it makes any difference. Like WilburW said, may just be magnetic north for where you are. Magnetic declination varies by lat/lon around the world, but I suspect calibrating during a solar storm could throw...
Were you trying to calibrate yesterday? There were some CME’s at the end of August, for those of you that may not be familiar with space weather. It disrupts the atmosphere and causes all kinds of wacky interference with the magnetic field of the planet and messes with electronics, satellites, etc.
I’m on my 4th wave. I use it several times a day, the warranty is great if you do break one. I currently have 2 that need to be sent in. One got ran over, the other has a broken flat tip. Still checks all the boxes for me, the surge is too big.
