Manners T4-A vs T2-A for Competition

Thanks for the feedback. The T6 is making it's way to the top of my list, plus I like the idea that the bottom side of the for-end is angled for elevation adjustments. I've recently been using a tactical stock with a flat butt on the bottom with a hook similar to an A-5 and it's taking some...

Manners T4-A vs T2-A for Competition

From checking out some comp videos here lately looks like lots of guys are running the T4 which if shooting prone most of the time I think this would be better. But these guys are shooting from a lot of improvised positions. I would think that the T2 would be faster for rapid adjustments of the...

300 SMK, a mile to 2000 yards, good or not?

I've shot the 300 smk past 2000 yards on several occasions out a .338 EDGE AI at 2776 fps. I don't have results paper but I had a spot where I would set up at and shoot at milk jugs or MOA size rocks the distance was 2400 yards. This shot with any wind was pretty difficult due to the layout of...

    375 cheytac or 338 edge

Kirby sells fire fired formed .375 Allen Mag brass which I think he is now using Bertram brass. The case has a 35 degree shoulder and some of the case taper taken out. I'm guessing it would get you around 100 fps or more velocity over the standard Chey Tac chambering.

    Bang For Buck

Re: Bang For Buck For 6.5-284, 7mm stw and related calibers although brass, bullets, and powder in the long run in the case of cost efficiency would be cheaper. Its important to highlight that they might only have half the bbl life of the 300 win mag or the 338 Rum which could in fact have a...

How to range target @ 1760 GPS???

Re: How to range target @ 1760 GPS??? My swaro doesn't want to range anything past 1400 most of the time reflective or not. When I go further and can't use incremental ranging use an inexpensive Garmin GPS, it is supposed to be accurate +/- 5 yds but seems closer than that most of the...
