    You don't need to replace the barrel, just have it fixed. Putting a thread relief in is pretty easily done by a good smith. If the can is not seating on the shoulder you will have an alignment issue leading to a baffle strike.

    We have been using TL-2s, for 10 years now and have been very happy with them. The newest is just a couple months old (came with hand wheels, don't use them much). The larger spindle through hole and the extra center to center distance on the 2's are really helpful if you can afford the difference.

    Quickload says 13,500 psi if you can actually get that speed out of that short of a barrel. fyi A 14.5" AR is going to be a little over 14,000 psi at the muzzle, a 20" AR is just over 8,000 psi.
