    For $400 you can't go wrong with a PST 2 3-15. If you don't buy it, let me know. My brother needs a long range scope in this price range and that would be perfect. Where are you seeing them for $599?

    It doesn't matter if you can get a Razor at $1400 or $1550. For a new shooter, it can't do anything that an $850 SWFA can't do. $700 of practice ammo is far superior to the miniscule difference between the two scopes to a new shooter.

    Nothing wrong with a Razor or SHV (I'm not a big Bushnell fan). But I shot my SWFA HD out to 1,100 yards with zero issues. There just isn't that much that a Razor offers to an entry-level shooter that an SWFA HD doesn't. It'll be a long time before the scope holds you back.

    Someone recommended the Mueller on RFC. I don't get how anyone is still making scopes with mil reticle and MOA turrets. I'll just keep shooting irons before I spend money on something that poorly designed. Just against my morals...can't do it.

    I've got spare triad tactical cheek pads - just hate to cover up such a nice looking stock. I'd consider just leaving it with irons before spending hundreds on a scope & rings to do that. This is my one really nice looking rifle.

    Couldn't agree more. I actually had an SWFA 5-20 HD that I was swapping between two rifles, and just bought a fixed 16x SWFA to put on the 2nd rifle because it sucked so much. I'll never do it again.
