    Best spotting scope tripod head?

I can move to any object with a STR and then lock it down with no backlash. Same with most rifles. Not an issue with that tripod head.

    Best spotting scope tripod head?

manfrotto 128s are not stable enough for large spotters, I have one that is used for binos or chronograph

    Best spotting scope tripod head?

Have used a STR 80mm but now run a STX 85mm with same head. No problem keeping spotter still for measuring impacts, ranging, antler spreads, etc. Able to switch from target to target faster with that head only single lock down and fluid heads move so much nicer.

Seekins SP10 for 375 Raptor build

Only con with the Seekins kits I have seen is no forward assist. Use this if easing a round in as quiet as possible when out hunting.

    Rifle Scopes NF Nx8 2-5-20 vs. Zeiss V8 2.8-20 Vs Swaro Z8I 3.5-28 vs S&B pm II 3-20 Short or 3-21 Exos

I am shocked how many people have an issue with eye box. The only person I know who has had an issue looking through either of my NX8 is my sister who only shoots a few times per year. I own two of the 2.5-20 on coyote rifles (5.56 and 6 creed). No problem hitting coyotes moving in brush with...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Browning 725 vs Fabarm Elos D2

I would shoot both, they point differently. I went 725 sporting since with that one I rarely missed with. Gun fit is by far the most important.

    Coyote AR

204 ruger or 5.56 work well when saving pelts. Anything works if just shooting them.

Rifle Scopes Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 recticle?

18-20 it gets a little darker but not bad. I personally think 50mm is ideal up to 20-22 power depending on the optic. 25 power and higher needs a 56mm. So not surprised you see it get dark above 26.

Rifle Scopes Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50 recticle?

Have the mil-c NX8 2.5-20 on a 5.56 and 6 creedmoor. Works really well for coyotes.

Rifle Scopes New high power Nightforce NX8?

Just got two of the 2.5-20 x 50 mil c from Sport Optics to try out. Thinking the NX8 will be in my top 3 favorite hunting scopes. Seeing very little need with this scope to piggy back a red dot or reflex sight for calling with the large FOV. Also has enough top end to make ethical shots on...

    Ar-9MM suppressed or Ar-45 Suppressed?

If you look back at the 1800s they had lots of rounds that were slow often used for hunting. Key was enough diameter and some weight to have enough momentum. A 45 ACP if smaller stuff. A 458 Socom in AR15 is the best overall option. An AR10 doesn't offer much benefit for subs due to lack...

    AR10 6mm Creedmoor barrel

I have a proof research 6 cm 24 +3 shoots factory 103 eldx around 3/4 moa @ 2960 fps. Tried Berger 105 from copper creek 3050 fps. Got swiping on brass never adjusted block since I had some minor meplat damage. So not something that would be ok for hunting. Target wise 1/2 moa. Testing 108...

    Rifle Scopes Tremor3 reticle ?

For sure the SD equations are super flawed. Maybe shooting around Litz makes us too worried about a none issue lol.

    Rifle Scopes Tremor3 reticle ?

Shooting today had about 0.3 mil of combined spin drift and coriolis effect. Have a few rifles sighted a hair left so don't have to worry at 1000 yards about spin drift. Just depends on application for any given rifle.

    Rifle Scopes Tremor3 reticle ?

http://www.davidtubb.com/dtr-scopes?product_id=189 DTR reticle was another attempt to make things easier. With modern ballistic calculators a plan grid I find better though past 1 second of flight.

    Rifle Scopes Tremor3 reticle ?

Unless you are dropping into lower grid after 10 mil you have the chance for wind dot interference that is no longer precise enough and in the incorrect location. The only con is only 5 mil of windage on the Mil XT. The H59 goes all the way to 10 mil. CCH only 4 mil if I recall correctly.

Hunting & Fishing 6cm for hunting?

105 Berger Hybrids work great on mule deer. Going to test the 103 ELDx later this year on a variety of animals.

    Rifle Scopes Tremor3 reticle ?

T2/3 are good until you get far enough that spin drift, coriolis effect, etc come into play. Then H59, CCH, and Mil-XT are better.
