Advanced Marksmanship Heresy! Todd Hodnett says bubble level is essential!

Just because it is electronic doesn't make it better. Look at all the scales targeted at reloaders. I feel like it is an easy test to just send a group down with it level then send a group down with it all the way to both sides and see how much it actually moved the POI.

    Triggercam Scope Cam

That is the ranges, Kongsberg. I might try to get a cheap GoPro to face the screen so that it is in a higher resolution. I am sure you could tell but I just duplicated the video and zoomed in and cropped it on the screen so it is difficult to see the numbers. I do need to play around with bags...

    Fire forming brass help

Fireform has two meanings and OP did not specify what his chamber was so we did not know if he was asking about fireforming virgin brass to his chamber or if he was trying to fireform 6.5 creedmoor brass into a different chamber, like how people take 6 BR brass and fireform it to 6 Dasher or 6...

The triggercam does not fit on my old Vortex Razor Spotter eyepiece.

    Triggercam Scope Cam

I can check my spotting scope when I get home but I think there are cheaper alternatives for spotting scopes, the main problem with most digiscope stuff for riflescopes is how much eye relief they add (as well as being a digital representation of what you see) forcing you to change how you shoot...

    Triggercam Scope Cam

I got my triggercam in the mail a few days ago, I have not recorded anything with it yet but in case anyone was wondering about fitment: TT525P : Does not fit (TT is listed as 45mm and the TriggerCam lists it as supported for 45mm, was hoping to use it on this scope but oh well I should have...

3000 fps with a 147 in 6.5 creedmoor, what the actual fuck.

Advanced Marksmanship Heresy! Todd Hodnett says bubble level is essential!

I have not yet done a competition where I have been on the clock so I always use my bubble level for each shot. One thing I just realized is that I use it as a solution and not a training tool. AKA it is off, fix it. It is off, fix it etc. I think it is time to make an effort to note down when...

Am I loading the bipod too much?

RRS tripods can get real low can't they, maybe try using the tripod in its lowest position with a rear bag then you can narrow down the issue to how you interface with the rear bag or the bipod.

Range Report Group size means little

We already have a way of using sample size for statistics, confidence intervals. The smaller the sample size, the larger the confidence interval for a specific confidence level. We will never get confidence intervals that do not overlap when using a level of 95% when deciding on a load recipe...

My internal bubble level is broken so I stick one on my scope.

    Recent Remington 700 Action Problems?

Well I never had a stuck case and you can’t chamber a round without pulling the bolt all the way back so in the end it isn’t any more or less functional then a custom or different factory action. That being said, I did sell it and probably wouldn’t get another factory gun. But that is because...

    Recent Remington 700 Action Problems?

Same, mine barely had any primary extraction (It was so bad that the trigger didn't reset when I lifted the bolt, had to pull back a little to get it to reset) but it was never a problem even with some stiff loads that gave heavy bolt lift.

A Syllabus: Learning Precision Rifle Shooting

Just a suggestion, but perhaps instead of 8. Ballistic calculators, you have 8. Adjusting for Distance or Fighting Gravity or something like that. And under it you can have 8. Adjusting For Distance/Gravity Obtaining Distance to Target Danger Space Milling Formulas Tools (Slide rules like...

A Syllabus: Learning Precision Rifle Shooting

It might be a good idea to have a simplified version vs an in depth version. Depending on how people learn, some may get information overload and some may want to learn all the things before getting started. (Perhaps highlight the bits that you should or shouldn't skip on the first time...
