    surefire muzzle breaks?

Re: surefire muzzle breaks? The SureFire MB762SS on my rifles work great. I run the .30 cal on a .260 Remington and .308 Winchester. Same can serves both calibers well. Without the suppressor, it reduces recoil very well. The pay off is increased muzzle blast at the shooter and observer...

    Eberlestock Rifle Chassis

Re: Eberlestock Rifle Chassis For what its worth: I handled Glen's chassis at SHOT. He gave me an indepth review of it and I can say that I am very impressed. Honestly, I did not like its appearance in pictures, but in person, it is very sleek and attractive. It reminds me of a stealth...

What do you have your trigger weight set to?

Re: What do you have your trigger weight set to? Assumed OP meant pounds on survey and answered accordingly. 2.5 pounds on FN two-lever (Win M-70 style). These are field/tactical rifles, not benchrest applications.

    ID this ammo?

Re: ID this ammo? It looks like a 140gr FMJ 6.5mm Carcano, like Rob01 thinks. Cartridge and bullet that Lee Harvey Oswald used to kill President Kennedy, at least according to the Warren Commission. Bullet diameter would certainly help. How many do you have?

Is this the right rifle for me? (FN SPR)

Re: Is this the right rifle for me? (FN SPR) Jerry, The group buy deal is a bit out of my realm. I'll ask some questions, though. Urging for heavy Snipers Hide advertisement at launch time. Likely to be first directly available through the FNH e-Store, maybe some other on-line vendors...

Is this the right rifle for me? (FN SPR)

Re: Is this the right rifle for me? (FN SPR) David, In response to your question of TBM conversion, it requires a new bottom metal/triggerguard assembly to take the TBM magazines. As Josh Degeare indicated, the kits are not yet available. The LE he referred to is an agency in the southeast...

    FN TSR XP USA

Re: FN TSR XP USA The TSR-XP USA, and some Winchesters, have a hybrid action that is referred to as controlled-round push-feed (CRPF). They employ the blade ejector of the pre-64 Model 70 and the sliding plate extractor of the post-64 Model 70. The pre-64 Model 70, M-70 Classic, FN SPR...

    Win M70 feeding problems

Re: Win M70 feeding problems I recommend he return it to Browning/Winchester, particularly if it is new FN manufacture (serial number starts with 35A). Unless he has taken it apart and reassembled incorrectly, there is very little to go wrong. If the problem is on Winchester, they'll...

    FN TSR XP USA

Re: FN TSR XP USA I like mine: shoots great with 69gr and 77gr SMKs, but then, I'm a bit biased. I'll let the rest of the forum give opinions of this rifle compared to others. I can provide the technical background you may need.

Vote, Muzzle device on your rifle

Re: Vote, Muzzle device on your rifle When the muzzle device doubles as a suppressor mount. Can't get much more tactical than that. Seeing your own impact is tactical, too.

    Fn Rifles.

Re: Fn Rifles. The only accuracy enhancement the A3G gets is the full glass bed. A5M and all other black-stocked SPRs are only bedded under the recoil lug and the tang. Surface finish: A3G is phosphated, A5M is black oxide. The barreled actions of the A3G and the A5M and all other SPRs...

anyone else have the 1st gen fn spr?

Re: anyone else have the 1st gen fn spr? 1st Generation SPRs are few and far between. Probably not more than 700 made. Made only a few years, back in the late 1990s. Serial numbers start with "FG", they featured an HS Precision stock, .308 Winchester, 4 round DBM magazine, aluminum bottom...
