    Pelican case foam layouts and botched jobs

    I have used a turkey carver on my last two pelican cases. Turned out pretty well. A guy I shoot with has a pelican case that looks like it was cut out using a crayon. I'm a function over form kind of guy. As long as the rifle is secure then it works for me.

    300 WM bullets and powder

    I am about to start reloading for my .300wm as well. Similar specs..26" barrel, 1:10 twist. My plan is to go with H1000 powder, GM215M primers, and Berger 200gr hybrid targets. Keep in mind that Berger has the optimal twist rate for the 215's as 1:9 or faster. Not that they won't work in a 1:10...

    Trigger for new build?

    I have the Geissele SSA-E in my 6.5CM AR and I like it. Have said that, I have shot my buddies 6.5CM AR with a Geissele National Match installed. I much prefer his trigger to mine. Just my opinion.

    Need help on Tumbler

    The Frankford Arsenal Platinum Series Rotary tumbler. Its $147 on Amazon. A little more than you want to spend but it comes with 5lbs of stainless steel media ($40'ish value). I bought one a few months ago after a ton of research and couldn't be happier.

    Prime 130G Performance in AR's

    I don't have a chrono so I can't give you velocity data but I tried a case of it through my GAP-10 (20" 1:8.25) and it didn't like it that much. I was lucky to get a 5 shot group under 1". I had much better luck with Hornady 140gr ELD Match in my rifle. Closer to .50" consistently.

    10/22 stock upgrade

    I purchased the 10/22 stock from RTAC Precision last year and have been extremely happy with it. The only reason I am hesitant to recommend it is because of the wait and multiple missed deadlines. Other than that, I love it.

    Sheldon N I believe I read in a previous thread that you couldn't recommend the GemPro250 due to some shortcomings. My cheap FA DS-750 is drifting all over the place so I am trying to decide between a GemPro250 and a new (old stock) rcbs 10-10 built by ohaus. Would you recommend the GemPro250?

    As an update, I went out last week and bought two boxes of Hornady brass on sale. Took a few that measured longer than others on the headspace gauge and ran them through the FL sizer to bump back a thou. They all measured consistently. Appears that the issue was indeed the warped case rims...
