    Have you tried it yourself? Or just going on the 'it ought to work" premise? I tried it, it didn't work out. There is no provision for an 'end plate' on the Tikka. So, putting an AR receiver extension on requires drilling/tapping a hole for a set screw to limit rotation of the stock.

    SHOT is simply not for retail consumers. It's an 'industry' show so that manufacturer's and distributors can get together to bring things to market. I seriously doubt you'd find a single cash register or stock or of sellable goods anywhere on site.

    I'm referring to the rifle itself, not the cartridge. The best I'm getting out of this rifle is right at 1MOA, which is a far cry from the 0.5 I'm getting out of the bolt gun. So, I'm trying to determine if that's acceptable for a gasser, or I feel I need to do something else.

    I have an upper with the BCM MCMR hand guard. It's relatively slim on the bottom and I'd like to add an Area 419 MLOK ARCA rail. The rifle is an 18" 6.5 Grendel that will be used in DMM type shoots. My first thought was to swap this hand guard out for a Seekins SP3Rv3 with the wide flat bottom...

    Did you shoot for groups with the magnetospeed strapped on? Or, did you remove the chrono for groups? I ask because I’m getting substantially better groups with my Tac A1 than what you’re showing, with the same ammo. Hornady 140 ELD for example is easily .5-.6 all day long in my rifle.

    There are some killer deals on Burris XTR II 8x scopes to be found. I have a couple of them with MIL reticles. 1 is used extensively in 3 Gun and DMM style matches. The other is on my AR10 deer rifle. For the price, the glass and performance have been terrific for me.

    Help me troubleshoot my single shot AR15.

    Just throwing this out there as I am prone to doing stupid shit... The Odin Works AGB that I have uses 2 screws. An inner screw that actually adjusts the gas which is then topped by a set screw. Are you certain you've actually adjusted the gas, or have you just messed with the set screw?
