    Sheeeet! if BT carbon remover is going to be like that I might as well pull back out my big jug o' CLR (at least it's cheap.) As long as any of these chemicals are used sparingly and patched out with IPA & dry patches afterwards it can't be that bad.

    Which Boretech solvent(s) do you use? I have eliminator and find it works pretty well at dissolving copper but is weak on carbon? I'm always looking for a magic bullet when it comes to cleaning, will check out Wipe Out also.

    Maybe it's a semantics thing but I'm trying to say shooting the AXSR like this is noticable less stable than my AT-X or any other PRS oriented chassis.

    AXSR is a great long range shooter. It's workable (but not good) for positional shooting. The hump in front of the mag well pushes the center of gravity high when shooting off a bag and running the bolt will rock the rifle wide to side. But it can work, just not easy to keep the rifle...

    I have an AXSR in 300NM and 6.5CM. I like shooting a lot of different calibers so I bought a WM bolt. And for that bolt I'm collecting the pieces to shoot 7 PRC. It's not necessary but I'm doing it for fun.

    Agreed, that's what mine does now if I wave my hands around or walk up to the draft shield fast. In normal use (AT 4) I don't have any issue. Nice work on the draft shield. (y)

    And I think between 1 and 2 they changed the screws that attach the bottom and top half of the chassis to make assembly and disassembly easier.

    Any option other than "preserving resale value" is (y)(y) Rattle can it if that's your style. Get a custom Cerakote job if that's your jam. Either way add your personal taste and make it yours. And if your happy with the factory color such as the delusional ES squad the that's Ok also...
