    Or the plastic shoulder pushes back enough to cause failure of extractor to get ahold of rim. I remember 25yrs ago some polymer/brass hybrid cased 223 ammo, but it was 55gr fmj. It never caused any issues in the bushmaster ar I had back then, I can't even recall the brand of it.
