    Finally got a Bravo stock for my 24", 6.5CM barreled action i purchased when Brownells was having their sale. I'm debating if i should trim a little off my rail, or take out a spacer on the stock and slide the scope a little forward. The scope currently touches at the forward edge of the rail.

    Why do people seem down on Savage rifles?

    Well guys... i ended up ordering a Howa barreled action through Brownells yesterday. It's on backorder, so i don't know when it will be here, but it's a start. I'm interested in dropping it in a KRG Bravo chassis. I don't know if i should keep my Savage, or sell it now.

    Any reason to get a T3x over a T3? At that price I'd even be happy with the .243 barrel and just shoot it out before changing to 6.5CM.

    My initial thought was to upgrade the Savage i have now, but adding up parts lead me to looking into other rifles. I'm glad i didn't start doing that now.

    Well... i guess where I'm at is that I'd like to shoot longer ranges (past 500 yards). I like to shoot "action" matches, IDPA, 3 Gun, etc. so the PRS seemed like something I'd enjoy. If i don't like PRS, I'd still like to shoot longer ranges anyway.

    I'm just starting to work up a load for my savage in .308. I've shot factory 155gr A-MAX Hornady loads that the rifle likes, so I started there with bullet choice. My main problem is looking at prefer charges using Winchester 748. I've seen 45gr to 46.7gr to "50gr+" listed as max loadings...
