    You can build your own tube amp if you want. I did not think it was all that hard....or you can have him build one for you. If you truly love music its a worthy investment that will last a life time minus tube replacements. A tube amp will still be worth almost what you paid for it, minus tubes...

    A tube amp with decent speakers is just the first step into HIFI. When I have time I try to convert to FLAC files, but man it takes forever since have so many songs on the PC. I listen to lots of 80's and 90's and you can tell some were recorded like crap a times...but Vinyl is a whole world...

    Diana Krall !!!!!!!!!! oh my gosh. I love turning her up, closing my eyes and its almost like she is sitting in my lap singing to me. Temptation and Love is are two of my fav's from her. Tubes provide so much more depth than sand amps. I have 65k songs on my pc that I listen to.

    I only have a ST-70 tube amp that I built a couple of years ago with JBL 590 speakers. Tubes sound even magical with NOS. Congrats on your setup. How often do you get to turn it on ?
