    I was thinking about putting a VX-3i 3.5-10x40 on a T1x. Because that is what is I have on a T3x in 7mm-08. Is the parallax going to cause frustration at close range for my daughter?

    ”I would not dump much money into the platform. Better base guns for that, imo.” What makes other guns better? I’m asking because I ended up buying 2 by accident and was thinking about getting a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel, gas tube, bcg, etc. for one. If they are subpar I could also just sell one.

    I know the 34mm Burris rings are advertised as being steel, but I purchased a pair and they are not. The 2 base pieces that wedge the ring and rail are steel. Just like they are on the 30mm version that I own, but the ring bodies that accept the inserts are not.
