    Re: New vs. Once fired brass questions From shooting steel targets out to 500 meters I haven't noticed any difference between virgin and 1 fired brass in my AR308, if you shoot benchrest then maybe but for tactical I don't think it makes enough of a difference.

    Re: Your load for banging steel with .308 I shoot 175g pulled smk's out to 1k and haven't noticed a difference from the regular bullets plus they were alot cheaper!43.5g varget in win cases and tula primers for my 700p. That is my economical load compared to the .50 and .338
