    Re: What knife would you recommend I'm looking for the same thing. I came across the Tops/Buck CSAR-T at SHOT and really liked it. It felt good in my hand, wasn't too big, and was solid as hell. You can get it for less than $100 with the G10 grips on amazon. It is worth a look.
