No experience personally. A close friend who is a MARSOC Scout Sniper used Frog Lube during his last Afghanistan deployment and had nothing but good things to say about the stuff. He even mentioned that he preferred it over Slip2000.
Definitely worth a try.

My Range Manager is a 26 year retired Capt USMC. He told me this weekend that a lot of the guys overseas were telling him how good this stuff is. I ordered some today and will give it a go. Just wanting to hear any one's personal experience with it.

I have tons of cleaners and lubes (don't we all?) and I have pretty much switch to using nothing but Frog Lube now. About the only other cleaner I use is some type of copper cleaner.
I like that I can put it on light wipe something down and not have a greasy feeling on the part when I remove it/wipe most of it off. I posted in another thread, but I put about 500 rounds through my M16 the other day and took the bolt out and cleaned with with just a paper towel, no additional cleaner on the bolt.

+1 for the Frog,been using it for about a year now and use nothing else. I use it on a custom gas gun as well as a Sig 220,M&P 15-22,my revolvers... I like the fact that the paste version can be carried in the field bag/back pack without concern for leakage/mess issues. The trick to this stuff is to properly treat the gun initially, as follow up is so easy. Also used it on my hands in windy weather as my gloves remained in the warm truck..... kept my hands from drying/chapping.
Frog Lube is also much easier to find now than it was a year ago

In addition to being a good lubricant and reducing carbon fouling, it keeps your weapons smelling minty fresh!
Presently running it in my AR's and a Nordic 22 upper that tends to be a bear to clean after 1.5k rounds of Federal bulk pack. So far things are looking good.

I was running frog lube on my M-4 along with a Surefire 556sa suppressor. After shooting 3-4 mags through the rifle, I had a catastrophic malfunction. The bolt seized up in the buffer tube and froze the rifle. It was not a quick fix. I had to come off the line, forcibly disassble the rifle, and eventually was able to get it broken down to the upper and lower. What I discovered was there was a large build up of soft gooey carbon on the bolt, which seized it in the buffer tube during the cycling phase of operation. For the record, MY RIFLE WAS CLEAN prior to the start of the range day. I attribute the seizure to the carbon caking onto the Frog Lube. I had just started using the liquid stuff recently and had never had this happen before. I would definitely say the suppressor was a major factor in this as one round fired with a suppressor is equivelant to 3-5 rounds without one as far as carbon buildup is concerned. Another factor I believe, is it was raining that day. Im sure the stars were aligned to induce this malfunction, but I share my story so this doesn't happen to someone in actual life threatening situation. For the record, several guys on my teams use and swear by the stuff. We even budgeted for a gallon of the stuff and a croc pot to keep it heated up in. That was recommended by one of the vendors.

your bolt seizure issue has me wondering.... I just put 90 rounds thru my AR308 and noticed no slight issue along these lines.I use the paste version and a heat gun for pre-range trips which turns the lube almost liquid. I follow up with a complete wipe down of all parts when cool.I definitely dont run a super wet bolt group like one would do with conventional oils.

Interesting to say the least. I was contemplating using this as a lube in my ARs. I use Slip 200 EWL at this time and have been very happy with it...Look forward to more feedback...

I have been using Frog Lube for a while now and it works like they say have had no issues in with either my bolt gun or my pistol. I followed the instructions and have to say I am impressed the weapons clean up very quickly as everything just wipes off. I am very skeptical of thing that are to good to be true but this proves itself and you do not seem like hoppes afterwards heck I clean my stuff on the kitchen table now.

The instructions said you had to completely strip any petroleum based products from the parts and then treat them with frog lube. You have to stay with using frog lube and not go back and forth with any other products. I was not ready to make that committed changed and gave away the frog lube.
Could this issue with mixing frog lube and other ceaners/lubricants have any connection to the problems mentioned above?

I first tried Froglube in my 10.5" Noveske.
I cleaned,degreased, and heated the parts before applying the Froglube. It worked so well I don't use Break-Free CLP anymore.
Highly recommend, great product.

Nope. My bolts feel fairly dry to the touch. I am a firm believer of not running too much lube. That just attracts dirt and carbon. Especially shooting suppressed.

Great product!
I smoetime run 500 to 1000 round, un-suppessed, through my rifle(s) and handguns without issue. Cleanup is a breeze, just wipe them down and reapply.

I wouldn't worry about switching back and forth between Froglube and other petroleum based lubes. If you look at the MSDS for the liquid version of Froglube, it has about 50% polyalphaolefins in it, which is a synthetic oil. I think they say you can't use Froglube with other oils because they want you to stick with their product and not switch over to something else. It's nothing more than just a marketing gimmick.

I've heard so much about it.... Still haven't tried it though. what I use works, so I haven't changed it...
I use weaponshield. same stuff like CLP I think
I also heard you can use it on your lips for chap stick. lol
