I saw the first pictures and was all wow that looks awesome but it probably won't shoot very well without a trigger :) I'm also curious about your technique because it looks so good
I bought a scope from them this spring (picked it up in person as I only live a few hours north) noticed it had a flaw in the reticle after spending a little time behind it. Fired off 2-3 emails with pictures to the guy I had an ongoing conversation with prior to picking up the glass and never...
My first load in my 24" gap (1:10 twist) was 300 Berger, 92 grains of rl33 and fed215m in Lapua brass. I was running that load really light at 2580fps and it was great out to 1850. I'm 5000ft asl which helps a bit.
People are more apt to leave negative feedback all over the web when unhappy with a product or service. How many of us take time to write rave reviews of the things that work properly the first time out? I know I don't as I'm usually too busy using said product. My point was that the customer...
I agree get some time behind the glass and you will love it. I'll admit while being frustrated this particular scope is on my 338lm not my match gun so I'm trying to be patient and ken has been fantastic to deal with. Luckily for him I caught a minute flaw in a batch or two of AMR reticles...
So your the other one! I had an issue with the etching on my reticle. Sent mine in 3/3 and it's not back either. I'm also pretty frustrated with the situation as I was quoted "up to 30 days for repair". When I spoke to ken this week he said there was one other scope in my same situation.
Your right. I thought I saw bushnell listed earlier somewhere. I should have been more specific with SOME scopes do some don't (smart asses on here lol)
Point being that all manufactures have strengths and weaknesses and the best thing to do is get behind as many of the scopes on your list...
Another thing to consider that bothers some but not others is most ffp scopes 5x zoom and above exhibit tunneling... Scopes in the 3-27 range also usually have a thicker crosshair so that it is useable at low magnification and to me are too thick to be of much use on the high end.
