    I see a lot of references in this thread to $600 transactions, but the way I’m reading it the IRS will have access to all accounts with at least $600 in the account. Nothing to do with certain transaction values.

    It appears to be fluted. If the threaded portion is removed and threads cut farther back it will be into the flutes. Not a deal breaker but cosmetically not what most people are after. A correctly made replacement is really the only right option in my mind.

    No doubt. CR2’s are so 80’s. I bought a Leupold RX-2800 (which I really like) because it’s one of the few range finders that uses a CR123. I have piles of those cells around and exactly zero CR2’s.
