    managing muzzle jump/recoil??

    I have read and watched a lot of videos about this subject. Some say have a soft shoulder absorb the recoil...a video here on SH says you should pull the rifle into the shoulder with a force equal to lifting the weight of the rifle. I don't understand how you can do both? Can you do both...if so...

    What is the general opinion of QD mounts? I have a LaRue QD that gives me perfect eye relief, and objective clearance. (1.56" rail to optic center line.) But I am not interested in swapping my scope to other guns. I also have a Warne mount that causes my objective bell to touch without the lens...

    What I'm trying to find out is one cap as good as another? why such a spread in the prices? Are Tennabrax as good as any other?

    Is there a real difference in lens caps? There is a tremendous difference in price. I only have experience with Tennabrax.

    I spoke with Dan at CS Tactical today and for just a little more I can get Minox ZP5 5-25 with the MR4 that I really like. From all that I have read it is has Alpha class glass, great turrets. It is a little more than I wanted to spend but I am seriously thinking about it... zp5

    Sako muzzle brake question?

    I received my Tikka T3x tac a1 yesterday and it comes with a Sako muzzle brake. The installation instructions say nothing about needing to set the timimg...just screw it on and tighten the clamping screw. Does that sound correct? I am assuming that since it was in the owners manual it is correct...

    In an effort to do a better job of recoil management I have changed my shooting position which called for the mount/scope back to adjust eye relief. My question is how will this effect my zero?
