StaBall Match Testing - 77gr Reloads, Chasing mk262
So I've tested up to 25gn of StaBall Match and so for my gun likes 25gns. I was having a hard time getting used to the 4lb RISE trigger compared to the 15 oz Jewel it replaced. Overall I like the StaBall. My best group was .590 and the worst was .840. Velocity average was 2659 fps. This is a CLE...- MJF

StaBall Match Testing - 77gr Reloads, Chasing mk262
I just loaded up some test rounds with StaBall Match, since 8208 is not available. I used new prepped Starline brass with a 77gn SMK and CCI 400 primers. I started at 23.4 gn going up .2gn until 25.2 gn. Now I get to take of the 1-8 NX8 and install my trusty 6.5 x 20 Nikon varmint scope so I can...- MJF

Sidearms & Scatterguns 1911 10mm modification, expert advice needed
I've been shooting 1911s chambered in 10mm since 1990. A Colt Delta Gold Cup and a custom job done with a Les Baer slide & a Clackamas Kimber frame. Both of these guns are fantastic. I have used both in many training classes with no problems whatsoever. I would recommend Wilsons 24lb flat recoil...- MJF

That shit is a joke. I rented a car and they were excited to give me the upgrade I did not want. I told them a BMW is not an upgrade. This POS shut off at every stop sign and the shifter was a little joystick looking thing designed by a feminine man.- MJF

Cast Iron Skillets
I used Grapeseed oil { had it on hand } and the oven. When I originally seasoned them seven or eight years ago, I used to much oil. That really messes things up. This time I used very, very thin coats. They came out great.- MJF

The Mafter is carbon steel. The Lodge was very rough cast iron. I'm going to cook a couple of steaks in it tonight. I also bought a chain mail scrubber to get the carbon off after.- MJF

Sanded my Lodge pan and re seasoned it and a Matfer. Six coats so far. Even though I did not do the best sanding job it is much better to cook with now.- MJF
